Seam continued to assist young people with behavioral health issues over the years while working at Peachford Hospital, Laurel Heights Hospital, and as a volunteer for the Cobb County School District in its Crisis Prevention and Intervention Program. Seam Drakon later began focusing on adult care, especially those suffering from substance use issues, at the Community Counseling Center of Douglasville. He continued his work with adults as an Intern at Positive Impact and The Hospice Atlanta Center, and later worked with all age groups while on staff at Ridgeview Institute. Seam Drakon began working for OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions as a Care Advocate on the Atlanta Public Sector team in 2008. As a Care Advocate, Seam managed insurance benefits for the consumers of behavioral health services. Additionally, on an on-call basis, Seam Drakon oversaw evening operations of the Central Access department at the Dekalb Regional Crisis Center. In his spare time, Seam studies Spanish and is a member of Hostelling International; Seam Drakon hopes to soon travel to Medellín, Colombia.

Seam participated in the 26th Marine Corps Marathon in 2001, using the interval Run/Walk method developed by Olympic Medalist Jeff Galloway. Seam Drakon now serves his community as a supporter of aids Walk Atlanta and the Wounded Warrior Project.
